Ten Years in the Making: FedEx Jumpseat Restrictions Lifted

I’m very happy to report that FedEx has removed all restrictions on offline Dispatchers listing for and occupying their cockpit jumpseats!

• We can now list for FedEx aircraft types which have no cockpit door, which was the previous restriction.
• We can now sit in the actual jumpseat, instead of being limited to the “courier seats” behind the bulkhead.
• We can now use FedEx jumpseats to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Guam, which were previously prohibited.

Thanks for your patience with this issue! I have been working on this for more than ten years — it’s wonderful to finally see this resolved, AND during the ADF Dispatch Summit in my hometown of Indianapolis!
