North American Flight Control

North American Flight Control is an FAA Part 65 approved aircraft dispatcher certification school located near Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. They offer flexible scheduling with a 5-week day program, 10-week night program, and 12-week weekend-only program, all providing the required 200 hours of training for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. This scholarship will be awarded to one (1) applicant.
  2. The applicant must be a member of the Airline Dispatchers Federation.
  3. The applicant will submit a resume and descriptive essay and/or cover letter.
  4. The applicant will be subject to the following eligibility requirements:
    1. Must be at least 23 years of age
    2. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    3. Must be a US Citizen OR hold current authorization to live and receive education within the United States of America not to expire prior to the completion of the dispatch course.
  5. This scholarship is for tuition only. All other expenses (including but not limited to: travel, lodging, ground transportation, food, FAA exam fees) are the responsibility of the recipient.
  6. The scholarship recipient must have time available to attend training and study without distraction. Practical testing will follow the course completion date.
  7. The scholarship recipient will be responsible for costs incurred if remedial training is needed due to lack of study or non-compliance with policies found within the school's instructional handbook.
  8. The scholarship recipient must schedule training to commence within one (1) year of the scholarship award date, else the scholarship may be voided.
  9. There is no promise of employment not guarantee of an FAA certificate.
