Eligibility

ADF Dispatch Scholarships Fact Sheet

1. Each scholarship will be awarded to 1 applicant.
2. The applicant must be a member of ADF. They can be a student member.
3. The applicant should indicate the scholarship(s) for which he/she is applying.  The applicant may apply for multiple scholarships.
4. Prospective applicants will sumbit a resume and descriptive essay.
5. Prospective applicants will be subject to the following eligibility requirements:
  1. Applicants must be at least 23 years of age.
  2. Applicants must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  3. Applicants must be able to travel to and from training at their own cost. Have time available to attend training and study, without distraction, with practical testing following the course completion date.
  4. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens OR hold current authorization to live and receive education within the United States not to expire prior to the completion of the dispatch course.
6.  The applicant will be responsible for costs incurred if remedial training is needed due to lack of study or non-compliance with policies found within the given dispatch school’s instructional handbook.
7.  The awarded applicant must schedule and complete his/her training prior to the date established by the scholarship sponsor or scholarship may be voided.
8.  There is no promise of employment.
