This Navaid is named after a river in the area.
A man once nearly drowned crossing this river. He later became U.S. President.
Its identifier is the same as the nearby airport's, but it is not located on that airport. It is not an airline served airport, but is very busy with corporate aviation.
The name is the same as a U.S. airline which operated in the same region, but is now known by another name.
This navaid is named after a nickname of the nearby city.
That city is the one with the largest population in an area known locally as the "Tri-State", and its nickname refers to its position in the corner of its state.
This navaid is at the intersection of two long Jet Airways, one of which has its west end at an AAF, the other one has its south end at a marine mammal.
